How do i install my drives for my PC?

  • i just reformatted my pc by just putting in the windows CD and erased everything and started installing the windows again. but now i dont know how to install all my drives? how do i do it ? how do i find out the models of my drives? when Windows cd re-installs itself, what drives are automatically installed and which ones are not that need to be? graphics, sound, and wat else? please help,,,, thank you

    If you have the cds for you computer, (any that you got with your hardware) you can use them to install your drivers. If you don't have the cds you should download this program belarc, and run it on your computer. It will tell you all the hardware and software on your computer. You can go to the website of the maker of every hardware component and check for the newest driver, or at least the drivers for any component that doesn't work right. Good luck

Do u mean dirveRS? when u reformat your hdd All your drivers are gone, u have to find them on the net, or get them from the CD the peice of hard ware cam with

If you just have a straight windows recovery disk then you will have no drives. If you have a "recovery" disk pack that came with your PC then you should have a disk called drivers. Otherwise go to you makers website like hp or dell. Go to support and type in the model and make of your pc i.e. HP pavillion 321a on and go to drivers it should list all of them.
