Is a DVD-RW disk different from a DVD-RAM disk?

Is my graphic's Card broken? how can i fix it?

• Ok i been having this problem for like 5 months but i never really cared because i dont have time to play games much anymore but school its almost over and well i recently got windows 7 and i had windows xp and before the graphics were just acting up when i played games but now that i have windows 7 its worse now it randomly does it.. it like freezes and small green squares appear then i have to restart...and in some cases like i was gonna play a game and blue screen cameout... i cleaned my computer from the inside with a dust remover and the card did have alot of dust and i though that would solve the problem but it dint here are my specs hope there enough to find out what the problem is.   Well if your getting distorted color shapes or something of the like then I would have to say that your graphics card is either getting too hot, or your case has poor airflow. I would advise first is to make sure your drivers are up-to-date for everything. You did mention that you just installed windows 7, so there could possibly be some driver issues causing these random bsod crashes. Your computer is indeed very outdated, and possibly your motherboard could be acting up. It's unclear though because virtually anything can give you the blue screen of death. Memory(Ram) tends to go bad after a while, and once they do you get all sorts of random problems with your computer. To make sure your ram is okay, I would suggest downloading a program such as memtest, and test it. Since your graphics card is nvidia, I suggest you download a fan controller, and try raising the fan speed to see stop any overheating, if any. Finally, the processor has a weird way of telling you it's going bad. When a processor begins to go bad it'll first crash randomly, then not boot up at all.
