Why won't my speakers work?

Why Wont My Speakers Work?

  • I have Dell Speakers & My speakers worked yesterday but now they aren't working. I know they work because I put them to a different computer and they worked ; They just wont work on mine ! Pleaseeeeeeee Help Meeeeeee ! I need my speakers !

  • Answer:

go start/control panel/ sound speech and audio devices/adjust system volume a window should pop up. the mute box should be unchecked and the tab should be placed on highest (volume). however below the volume tab if " no audio device detected" or something else of that nature appears then you have a driver problem or your sound card is lose if its on the pci slot. input your motherboard disc. reinstall your sound drivers. a good way to check if your pc can "see" your sound card right click my computer/properties/hardware/device manager. a window will pop up. under sound control there will be a list of drivers. if you see a yellow box with an exclamation mark in it most likely it means you need to reinstaill/install drivers. if you see nothing then your sound card isnt connected properly to ur pc.
