Google... You wont learn much about technology in a classroom-type setting, with lesson plans, etc. Technology is a hand's on experience, and it's constantly changing and adapting as new technologies are implemented and changed. If you have a specific question about technology, Google and other search engines are your best friend. Otherwise, you wont learn much. You might learn more by asking friends who build computers if you can watch. Maybe YouTube can help some there, but again, you wont learn much from just watching and reading about what other people know. Best wishes, happy new year! :)

The best place is a thrift store... they get donated PC's all the time, and somebody has to check them out and get them ready for sale. I used to volunteer at one down the street from me in Houston. I taught several guys how to fix computers while I was there.
