What is a good 240GB SSD Hard Drive?

  • I asked the question recently which hard drive to upgrade to for gaming and general use and received many replies in a matter of minutes which was great. Almost everyone said go to solid state drive which ive decided to after researching every ones comments, links and advice . However I seem to be at a crossroads as to which SSD to get . In saying that i am happy to purchase a 240 GB capacity drive. I am pretty much looking for a top of the line product. Can somebody please advise me on what brand I should be looking into purchasing for the best performance thank you ??

    I am currently using hitachi capacity monster and i find it rather good. Heres a source for you to decide which drive to use . They are tested for gaming so i hope it helps you =)

If the price doesn't matter then the OCZ Vertex 3 240GB SSD is the fastest one. If you are looking for a brand that is supposed to be more "reliable" you should take a look at the Intel 510 250GB which will be a bit slower. That said, both will be incredibly fast and i doubt you'll notice much difference :)
