EBay or Craigslist if you want to shop online. Gaming computers can run from a few hundred to 3 or 4 thousand and more depending components installed in it. Not all have an Operating Sys (Windows) Installed. CPU Core Type and speed, Video Card (HD), Mother board and Cooling Systems determine Performance, Reliability and Cost. Beware of overclocking!!! Warranty and return policy are very important. This is the one that I am selling on Ebay -- take a look. http://cgi.ebay.com/Gaming-Computer_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ65Q3a12Q7c66Q3a2Q7c39Q3a1Q7c72Q3a1234Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a0Q7c293Q3a2Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem4a98a4779dQQitemZ320388495261QQptZDesktopQ5fPCsQQsalenotsupported Let me know if you have any questions DTurk

Look man, don't mess around with Yahoo answers. Just get off your butt and start searching and start walking around. Then, once you've done some homework, if you aren't sure, then come back and ask. You need about US$800 (moderate) up to US$2000 (top end) for a pre-built gaming machine. Do you have that kind of dough? Most people don't. I don't. So, like a lot people I build my own for about $330. Makes for a lot of work reading all over the place to get the info, but the machines usually work very well. Usually better than the made-to-order ones. If you are really lazy and loaded with dough, then just go to NewEgg and buy a barebones or even a fully built. They work fine and you can RMA if they don't and get a new one for free. So yeah, if you want it built go Newegg, Here's one guys's story who did it: http://williamolivertech.wordpress.com/2008/02/09/the-ultimate-600-gaming-machine/ Or better, IMHO, go to a local small shop. Tell them how much cash you want to spend (knock off 40% so they don't go crazy), admit that you are a dumbo, and ask them to do a good job for you. They usually will. Ask some friends who have done the same stuff to get the names of some shops. Yah and have fun. I know you want to avoid the hassle, but in life it comes with the job.
