How To Learn Computer Hardware?

I want to join people doing computer servicing privately and to learn troubleshooting and hardware servicing?

  • I'm a graduate..I want to join people or something like i want to be in a hardware & networking team who goes to customer for troubleshooting problems in their computers or laptops..I need to learn by being with them..no matter wat they pay me..I just want to learn some troubleshooting technologies..I put up in chennai.. if i get the contact of such people is a more needful.. thank you.. hope i get a good team..

    Get some literature on PC troubleshooting and study it thoroughly. Join online forums with hardware, operating system and networking/security sections. Get clients (start with friends and relatives or neighbors) and learn as you go, using the literature, google and online forums as resources to fix the problems you are trying to fix. You will learn more quickly this way and build a client base in the process.

Going to a few of your local computer shops, and schools and talk with the IT manager, and see if there are any intern programs you can do, and if ya really want to broaden that, go anywhere there is a computer network and ask the same thing. I.E. Television stations, hospitals, ect. ask to speak to the IT managers and see if there is something you can do. I would be willing to bet, they will not let you do it for free, as having someone there, doing things, yet not on the time clock is a liability to any employer, but, if Min. wage is acceptable to you, you have a starting point to work your way up from. Be honest about the information you already know, so you are not thrown into a task you can not complete, and you will be able to learn quite a bit. IT departments love interns, they are inexpensive, and willing to do what needs to be done to learn.
