How do I burn my iMovie project onto a disc?

How to burn video or files to a cd-r?? pls help me?

  • i have a new blank cd-r from the store then i try to burn using vista my procedure is: 1.insert the blank cd-r 2.then i open the D or disc drive it says format then i name it and select mastered format 3.then it will open 4.i right click the file i want to burn into that disc 5.then click send to disc drive D:. 6.i go to disc drive d i click the file and click burn 7.i name the disk and it starts burning 8.it says writing file into disc someethinnngg succesfull 9.the disc pop out from the laptop 10.when i insert it again and look at it if the file is there 11.it is like the beggining when i will open it i need to format it again and do the same NOTHING HAPPENS PLSS HELP ME I NEEED THIS this WEEK this IS a school PROJECT HELP PLSSS!!

That is totaly wrong. Put the disk in your drive. Wait until it hums. Either when the window pops up and asks do you want to burn a music disc or data disk, click in the ballon and a window will open. Drag the songs you want into thw writing window. Click on File at the top and click Write these files to disk. Or... Put a disk in the drive. Click any window off that shows. Right click on a song or album or film. Click send to........cd rom or whattever your cd drive is called. Then a window will pop up as before showing the songs etc in it. Go to file at the top and click on write to disk. YOU DO NOT FORMAT A CD. Hope this helps.

You should get yourself some proper burning software. Something like Nero, then you will not have these problems. To burn with Nero there is only 5 steps.
