How do I get rid of the buzzing noise in my speakers?

I get a buzzing noise on my PC speakers?

  • I get a buzzing noise on my PC speakers, but it works fine with headphones. I also tried with brand new speakers. but still have the same problem. can some one suggest a solution for this, could this be because of Hum loop, if so how can i get rid of it.

  • Answer:

Hi If you are using the same plug with both Speakers and Headphones , so the problem is in Speakers. but if you are using the Headphone plug (usually the BLACK one) with headphones and the Speakers plug (usually the GREEN one) with Speakers , so you have to check two things : - Sound Card (built in or plug and play card) maybe you need to replace it . - The last Driver for your sound card (sometimes wrong driver causes bad noises) if nothing of what I mentioned before worked , try to check the speaker plug (the green one) maybe there is dust or something , so try to clean it ... hope that will help ...

might no be plugged in right or there worn out lol

the first thing i would ask you : is there a fan or other electric motor connected to the same circuitry of the computer? if yes try to change the connection of the computer (you can use a power softener from APC or a UPS SYSTEM to clean the power source. second thing i would check is the grounding of the computer and outlet (check the grounding for the Speaker system as well) good luck if you need more help email me.
