I need help Restoring my Itouch?

  • Ok so i just got a new computer, and my itouch was hooked up with my old computer. I wanna restore my Itouch (completely erase everything on the itouch) but my itouch was hooked to my old computer, how do i restore the itouch and switch it to my new computer? pls help!

    Make sure your iPod Touch is connected to your computer. Pick "iPod Touch" in the Source pane of the iTunes program. Click on the Summary tab. after downloading and installing the latest iTunes on your nerw computer, plug in your ipod and when it pops up in iTunes on the source pane on the right side of your screen, click your ipod and then click Restore. this will delete all apps, songs, movies, and pictures off your ipod and allow you to sync it to your new computer hassle free hope this helps -carsyy

Plug it into your new computer, go into iTunes and when your iPod gets recognized by iTunes hit the restore default settings button. Also to clear all of your music and get the new music from your new computer hit the sync button in the bottom right corner.
