Is there an adapter for the computer speakers?

What adapter should I get for my computer speakers?

  • I have an audio card that can support a 5.1 speaker system. However, my speaker's connectors look like RCA and the audio card has a 3.5mm jack. What adapter should I get so I can hook up each individual speaker to the back of my computer to enable surround sound?

  • Answer:

Says phono but that means rca too. So female rca jack to male 1/8" (3.5mm) male. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102692 They make a "Y" rca with two inputs to one 1/8" as well if you need that. I gave Rat shack as an example but other stores will have it too like Walmart, Bestbuy etc.
