How do I burn a DVD with Nero StartSmart?

I am recieving a write error everytime i try to burn a video dvd with nero.?

    try it by reducing the burning speed !! some what 8X speed !! & use new DVD write it in DVD burner not in CD burner !!

Could be your DVD media is having issue with MBR. try using new disk, if the error persists, use diffrent tool like roxio or imgburner for burning a data , just to verify that your DVD RAM drive.

ARe u sure u r not using counterfeit software. Enough details. If you are copying DVD to DVD, check your source DVD. It might be damaged. If you are trying to write any format of video other than *.VOB or *.MPG, check whether it matches the writing format (ie.NTSC or PAL)

1st thing i know ppl want details but this was a little 2 much :) now y not reinstalling nero from some other source maybe what u have is erromatic n y not try some other dvd 2 at time minor thing create huge problems :)

if you want to burn videos to DVD, no nero, there is an easy way, I have used RZ DVD Creator, you can try it, it can create standard video DVD from any movies, it can directly convert and burn any videos to DVD(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-DL, DVD+DL, etc), such as avi to DVD, etc. Work well on my computer, i like it.
