What will i need to play pc games in 3d along with a 3d monitor?

is there special hardware and software that i will need is there a particular pair of 3d glasses i should get ? i have a i7 2600k processor and a geforce gtx 580 and 8gb of ram what else would i need to play pc games in 3d
