My computer cd player wont work. I get an error code 32. What does this mean?

Either your CD-ROM has gone bad, or it is getting no power. If you can, open the case and reseat the power connector and the data cable(you won't be able to do this if it is a laptop). If that doesn't work, the drive is bad.
That means that it would cost $32 to fix...
what does the error message says you may need to go to the device manger and update the CD drive.
