Help with computer hardware?

Virus or hardware problem? computer failing and i need help please?

  • my computer apears to be dieing and I have no idea what is wrong with it. what happens is some time after booting, the computer disconnects from everything(monitor, printer, keyboard, ect.). then the power button flashes on and off a few times, then the computer starts beeping, two beeps the same length over and over again. i dont know if this is because of a problem with my hardware of if a virus is doing this. thank you for your help my computer is an HP an a6242n amd atholon X2 64 dual core processor windows vista home premium

    It's a hardware problem, I can't tell you what's exactly causing the problem but I think it's the RAM...Try to put that that RAM into another computer and see if the computer runs..

Overheat, matey. Try opening the computer and remove all dust possible.

Well I just skimmed the manual for your computer - less than helpful. The beeping leads me to believe the thing is overheating. Might want to make a call.
