How To Fix Blue Screen?

Blue Screen of Death. How to fix it?

• Ok so, I have had this computer for years, it's been perfectly fine. I'm pretty sure I know WHAT the problem is, just not how to fix it. About 5 minutes after I turn on my computer a blue screen with white text pops up, it says something about a corrupted file. Now to tell you how I think I got it. I recently was on Facebook, when my friend sent this message to EVERYONE in her friends list. Now, me not remembering, "Oh yeah, she's the one that gets her account hacked alot", I click on this link that says "Hey your on ccandid camera!" I go in and I immediately exit out. I realized just how stupid it was to do go in, but after I scan my computer to make sure no virus's popped into my computer, it showed nothing. After I restart my computer, after about 5 minutes, I get this blue screen. And now I have a bunch of programs or something all named "Hotfix" which no one in my family downloaded. You cannot uninstall hotfix by normal means, which lead me to assume that this was the problem. Does anybody, anybody at all, know how to fix this problem?! What I need is detailed instruction on exactly how I'm supposed to get rid of this "Hotfix" or whatever it is I need to do to be able to use my computer without the blue screen. If any more details are needed simply post them and I'll post the answer on my question.

  other answers on top is useless if you cant start your computer how can you do what they say? retart your computer or off the power supply for it wait for 1 day if that dont work sorry dude my pillow is more valuable than it
