How to delete temporary files in MATLAB?

Why won't my files delete?

• I have windows 7 and I wanted to delete some things so make my computer run faster. I went to the area called "Files" where EVERYTHING I've ever had is even things from my old computer. I tried to delete some things but nothing showed up. The "are you sure you want to delete these 2 files?" box didn't even pop up. I used the delete button and even tried right clicking and going 'delete' but nothing happened. But when I got to a regular place like "My pictures" it lets me delete everything. I have A LOT of files in my "Files" folder so it that why it's not working? Is there another way to get rid of them? I can't just go to a folder like "Documents" because my things from my old computer aren't there. On my backup disk I can't find those files from my old computer. Confusing but could you plz try your best to help? Thanks to all! =[)

  can you try this? enter the folder "Files" and do a single click on the top file and hold shift and then click the bottom folder and delete those. Sometimes it is easier to delete individual folders all at the same time because you might need admin to delete one folder "Files"
