Can anyone please tell me in which website can i get the details of a power pc.what is power pc

    Rather than me quoting verbatim from what's in this Wikipedia article, I suggest you have a look. As far as I know, No home computing company uses PowerPC processors: Even Apple switched over to Intel.

The only PowerPC processors on the market are in Xbox 360, nintendo wii, and PS3. All them are based on it,but are modified. Apple, which makes the macintosh computers, used to use the architecture, but recently has moved to intel based. So, you wont find anything from them now. And the newest operating system coming out next (mac os x) snow leapord may not even support PowerPC. So, i wouldnt be getting interested in using those processors. Look for intel or amd.
