How to hide application on taskbar?

READ DESCRIPTION-Why doesn't my Windows 7 taskbar doesn't appear?

• Any solutions to the problem? I've tried restarting the computer a couple of times but it won't work, I noticed something too, each time I restart the computer, something automatically sets the taskbar to auto-hide-EVEN IF I DISABLE AUTO-HIDE EACH TIME. I see the taskbar each time Windows (Explorer) starts up but it disappears afterwards. I also see it when Windows starts shutting down. It all started after I opened Diablo a few hours ago (I use a file named Diablo.bat to open it, it to fix the graphic errors I get while playing it. The file simply opens the main .exe file with a few configurations and it closes explorer.exe (Windows Explorer) each I open it. By the way, Windows Explorer automatically opens after I close the application but this time, the Windows Taskbar didn't appear, AT ALL). P.S. DON'T TELL ME TO BUY ANYTHING NEW e.g. a Mac... and, I uninstalled Diablo BEFORE I asked this question and it didn't do anything good.

  The mystery of the Windows 7 task bar has yet to be solved... or rather, Microsoft has yet to give a valid reason with a solid fix. Here is a temporary fix that you can use, which sometimes works permanently, while others have to use it each time they log on to Windows. *Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and open Task Manager. *Click Processes and scroll down (near the bottom) until you see "explorer.exe", click it and then End Process. *Go back to Applications, and click New Task... *Type in explorer.exe VOILA ! It sucks it's only temporary but at least you can click your task bar now !
