Video card help, messed up image?
-
Hello. So, I got this new video card because I wanted to improve the video quality over my on-board graphics card... I just installed the hardware and drivers and well... It's all the same. It's a GIGABYTE Radeon HD 4550 video card which is hooked up by HDMI to a 1080i max resolution TV. Using my onboard graphics card the resolution was 1360x768 60Hz and after the graphics card, the same resolution is the highest it can go. In fact, any higher or lower and the entire screen is blurry and contorted to a point where it's unusable. 1360x768 is the sweet spot apparently... But I was expecting to go up to HD. Help?
