How do we turn on the print spooler service?

Print Spooler won't work!?

  • I can't add printers to my computer. I have done a lot of research and tried a bunch of things. What seems to work for other people isn't working for me. I have gone to "Services" and tried "Starting the Spooler Service", but "Error 2" comes up. I went to the windows/system32/spool/printers and looked for weird stuff but it's completely blank... Also, every time I turn on my computer i get a bunch of pop-ups and they all say something about system32, which makes me think it's all linked... I don't know what else to do... I need to print stuff. Ideas please??? *I have read that Lexmark and Dell printers have something to do with this. I had a Lexmark but now I'm trying to add a Cannon...

    If you still can't install your printer, checkout if you are logged as administrator of the machine. If you are and still cant install it check for specific problems related to the printer that you are installing. In a worst case scenario, backup data and format the pc :(
