HP printer faulty when printing from Microsoft office?

Hp office jet 5610 printer slow and pauses when printing and copying?

  • i already tried hp support and troubleshooting

  • Answer:

Printing in a higher dpi causes the printing to be slower. That may be affecting the speed. OR...are you using a USB2 cable? If it the original USB than it makes for a slower connection. OR...a compatability issue with the printer and your computer. Some printers are designed specifically for the most current version of windows and if you have an oler one (or the newest) it may effect speed. Try the hp website for driver downloads if this is the case. OR...when all else fails reset everything. It is so cliche but power it all down and power up again. (unplug from wall and your computer) and fire it up again. Failing these suggestions...Hp offers a 1 year warranty on their machines. If you bought it within the year demand a repair. Good luck
