How to fix my HP printer?

How do I fix my HP deskjet printer (F4100)?

So...Now that I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software as the HP tech advised me in order to fix this fun problem, voila! It still says "error" in the printer file and won't print anything we send. They are still just sitting in the print que! I have tried "set as default printer" and "use printer online" and all connections and drivers are in tip-top order...can anyone help please?

Try this At times HP you will get a glitch when using the printer software and you will need to uninstall and then reinstall I recommend this procedure for that problem. Just click the run tab Add/remove and remove all components for the printer Now do a complete clean up with the HP level 4 driver removal utility tool (Scrubber) Just click the run tab When done, reinstall the software
