Help with HP computer and HP printer?

I want to scan something from my HP printer to my HP computer , but it only gives me two options , HELP PLEASE?

  • Okay , my computer and laptop are connected . I click on scan on my printer , and it gives me two options . Either : scan and save to memory card . Or : scan and print . IT DOESNT HAVE AN OPTION TO SCAN AND THEN SAVE TO COMPUTER . So how do i scan a picture ? And please help , 10 points best answer ! Oh btw i dont have any scanning things on my computer .I cant scan from my computer ;(

    you can try it if you have a graphical tool. For example on your MSPAINT, you can scan images from your HP printer as source.

install the software onto the computer then use the scanner software.if your doing it from printer it will not give you the option to save to computer cause it can not tell if its connected to a computer.go to hp get software and run from computer.
