Why is there a blinking light on my printer?

HP Deskjet 3920 Printer Blinking Light issue?

  • Just awhile ago I turned on my HP Deskjet 3920 printer to print a document. I decided to print out some pages and that did fine. However when I attempted to print another document, the blinking light happened. There were no error messages except when I opened up the cover. I followed the instructions here http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=125&prodSeriesId=445452&prodTypeId=18972&objectID=c00369308 and did other things like clean the rollers and whatnot. But nothing works. Even now, the printer cover is open, yet no error message comes up. Whenever I attempt to turn on the printer either: A. I plug and unplug it manually and the printer mechanisms inside it make the noises and the blinking light happens. B. I turn it on from the switch and no noises happen and the blinking light still happens. Is there a way to remedy this? I checked all the official solutions and nothings happening. Has my printer finally went kaput?
