What photo printer would you recommend?

Can anyone recommend a good compact photo printer?

  • I have just ordered the Panasonic Lumix TZ20 digital camera. Because this is such a good camera and should produce fantastic quality photo's i would like a photo printer that will be able to reproduce the quality of the photo's in printed form. I have heard that the dye sub printers are better than ink jet ones, but would appreciate anyones experience on this. Cost of paper and ink is a consideration as well but quality of prints is the most important thing.

    Look at the Kodak photo printers on Amazon, and note the prices for the supplies. Kodak has the better prices over some of the other printers. But, read the customer reviews of the buyers. That speaks a lot.
