Commercial printing problem.

Problem With Sublimation Printing on Epson 1100?

• I just purchased an Epson Workforce 1100 a little over a week ago and began printing sublimation images for the first time. I use it to print images for sublimation printing on mugs. All of my images are digital graphics (not photos), consisting of mostly symbols and images that are cartoon or logo looking in appearance. All of my images were coming out great up until a few days ago (about 200 pages of 8x11 paper later, each with about 6 small images each, so not a heavy workload), when any colors that used Black ink (either for solid black images or to darken colors, such as dark reds or blues) started coming out terrible. The best way to describe it is that they come out looking almost like a tye-dye effect of blotchy-ness and fading. There has been no change to my paper or ink. I've tried cleaning the print heads several times, but that doesn't change anything. It almost seems as if the printer is using too much black ink since they come out particularly wet. Also, the printer seems to be making a more aggressive noise than it did at first, but I don't know if that is a factor in the problem. Again, everything was printing perfect up until a few days ago. Any images that do not use the black ink come out fine (such as yellow or green). I just wish I could know what the source of the problem is, be it the ink, CISS, or printer itself so I can fix it ASAP. Please, if you have any experience with a similar problem, please let me know!   I think its more of the ink. check the quality. it might not be drying soon enough after printing.. so change the ink..
