Kodak Printers vs HP printers?
-
We all know that Kodak been here since 1892 and is good. I had Lexmark and went printing alot, it wouldn't be no time when running out of ink and two if you don't print that much the ink last a little longer but still want last. As for Hewlett Packard, I once heard that the ink in the HP printer last a good while longer. but I have one and when starting to print that one time It won't print, I looked for paper jam nothing and I even looked it over nothing so I unpluged it and tried again and still don't work. So I went online to see about it and read on here that someone had wrote that HP printers has poor technology, so I went and bought a Kodak printer I have it all hooked up but not on the pc yet. I talked to someone at Walmart and they tell me that they had a Kodak printer since Feburary and still good. So since Kodak had been here for 119 years, since 1892 i really belive Kodak printer has it better. Kodak printer Vs HP printer whats is good.

Answer:
Well I hope before you bought your Kodak printer you checked to see if it is compatible with your OS. It seems Kodak only works with certain systems. I have a friend who has a HP printer and I have never heard her complain about it. I have always used a Lexmark printer and the only complaint I have is the cost of the Lexmark ink. It is a great printer but I think it is mean of Lexmark not to allow the carts to be refilled and reused by the owner, especially in the present economic climate when we are all short of cash. I know the printer can be bought at a very good price and they make their money on the price of the ink, but I would rather pay more for the printer in the first place and a bit less for the ink later on. It is such a good printer that a lot of ink would be bought, so they would still be making a handsome profit. I finally had to leave the Lexmark aside and look for a printer that did not cost an arm and a leg for ink. I searched around and read all the advertisements and decided that Kodak was the one for me. After all Kodak is a brand name we all know trust. I was delighted that I could have a Kodak printer. How wrong I was. I bought my Kodak ESP 3250 All-in-One last March and have regretted it ever since. I set it up exactly as it said in the instructions that came with it, but it just would not print. It said it was printing and looked as though it was printing, but it just returned a blank page. I spent weeks trying to find the problem on my computer because I trusted Kodak. I even went to the Kodak home page and chose to download what was supposed to be a fix for the problem. This took hours on end and I had to leave it downloading through the night because I have a very slow and expensive Dial-Up Internet connection. The following day everything just stopped on my computer. After more sorting out I found my Internet connection was firewalled. Kodak messed it up. So there were more hours on the telephone with the Internet Service Provider, trying to set up another connection. I got that done and then had to clear everything off my computer...format the whole thing...and in doing that I lost a lot of saved stuff. I also ran out of the time allowed to return the Printer to the shop where I bought it, so I could not get my money back. And I actually bought colour and black ink and two packets of photo paper along with the printer so I am stuck with them as well. When it wouldn't print I thought that the ink that came with the printer might be at fault so I put in the two new carts that I had bought. I tried everything to get it going. I was disgusted with it so I packed it away in the box it came in and put it in the back of a press, out of my sight. I was given a laptop recently and I got mobile broadband so I was delighted at the prospect of finally getting the Kodak printer working. I connected it to the laptop and waited for the first page to print...it printed nothing. Blank page again. It is sitting here connected to the laptop and I might as well have a turnip connected to it....What a let-down!!! After searching the net I finally found the answer. It seems it is not compatable with the OS on my computer. I wouldn't know that straight away as I am not a wizz kid on computers and it seems I am not alone. Nowhere on the box or in the literature is there any information about it's compatability. Had I known this at the start I would not have bough the Kodak ESP 3250 and would have saved myself; the price of the printer; the price of two extra ink carts; the price of two packets of Kodak photo paper; eight months of wasted time; not to mention the huge bill for telephone calls and dial-up connection running day and night to download a lot of trouble. To answer your question: Kodak Printers vs HP printers?..........It has to be HP Kodak?....Never again. I am so disappointed. I wish you a lot of luck with it.
