i have a brother wireless printer and i recently changed my wireless router's core because it was old and its like ****** now. All the computers/laptops in the house won't connect to the printer now. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it on all the computers like 50 ******* times and it keeps saying its OFFLINE. everything on google says to go to control panel, then printers, then click it, click printer and un check the offline mode.. but its not ******* checked in the first place plz help, i have so much homework and assignments that desperately need to be printed as they go towards the hsc and i'm on the verge of throwing my router out the balcony door .. UGH

Answer:
I had a similar issue with my Brother wireless printer. First make sure you have the latest drivers downloaded and not the one which came on CD with the printer!! I resolved it by telling Windows it should find the printer by IP-address and not by the printers name. To change that go to Control Panel -> View scanners and cameras -> Select your device and click on Properties ->Select the tab Network settings -> There choose Specify the device by IP-address (probably now Specify by name is selected.). That did the trick in my case where I had the same problem. Sometimes of course the type of printer and the windows version you use can make a difference. Therefore check the Brother site for latest drivers and they have a great FAQ and issue database online too. http://www.brother.com/html/product_support/index.htm

All you have to do is reset the connection and then you will be able to change the internet connection that's what happened with my Brother printer its was kinda stupid but it worked if that doesn't work I know for mac if you press the internet button thing in the top right corner (I'm not sure about pc) there will be a connection it will say devices and then under it, it will say setup and you can connect to that for it to work but make you change it back to the internet connection you are on so you can go on the internet or else it won't work, I hope this helps and good luck
