What is a good printer for a publishing company?

Fraud by Hp company in printer L7380?

  • I have purchased a printer (HP L7380, S.No. MY8C3820FG) in July 2009 After 6 months we felt some problems in the printer. For solution the printer checked by local service center here in C-Scheme. They told us that printer-head of the printer is not working and they are sending it hp head office for replacement. We got the head after one and half month. After installation the printer-head the printer was working but two months later it had again same problem. It was sent again for replacement and got after two and half month without any solution and it was sent again by us to head office. The printer-head sent again by head office without any solution after two and half month. Thus we are facing problems continuously since above 8 months & no solution done by the local service centre and head office also. Now, when we told for solution at Jaipur service center, c-scheme they replied that printer is out of warranty. We would like to bring your attention that we have worked only 6 months with the printer & more than 8 months has been passed away in the process of replacement of printer-head.     Sounds like your local company is on a scam. HP, will replace new for new if it is less than 12 moths old. Your agent should have sent it back for replacement. Now the bug, when you replace an HP ink cartridge you replace the head, so the problem is else where. HP can sometimes be slow but not that slow. When they exchanged mine it only took a couple of weeks. I would write to HP and tell them your problem. it might be better to send it back to them to fix once and for all

I have looked for HP customer service, but for me it returns US phone #'s only (because I am in US). If you search "HP World WIde" they will give you the contact information you need to reach them from India. Also search "HP Customer Service." Hewlett Packard has good dependable service. I am sorry you've had trouble, but I am sure they will help when you contact them directly.

Tell Hp you wish to exchange this printer for a new product and get another Printer maybe a different model, as the problem could be in all that particular model.
