Why is a laser printer printing all gray?

Why is my laser printer printing sheets with White Vertical Lines?

  • When I print out colour sheets I get white vertical lines in the exact same positions every time. This does not happen with black and white though. Anyone know what could be wrong? Thanks

I know whats going on with your printer for some reason i had the same problem too what happened is one day i was printing a colored paper for my Friend than it was all blank the reason was because my printer was 2 years old and the ink was all out that's why the next day i changed my ink and i bought a new printer

Other answers

Could be the toner (remove and LIGHTLY-GENTLY, shake side to side to distribute the toner evenly) then try another print. Could also be the ETB (color transfer belt) or the fuser assembly. There is NO exact answer unless I am actually at the laser printer, but that's the steps we take when diagnosing problems.

Your out of ink.
