What's a good portable mobile printer?

Whats a good printer for everyday/ school work use.?

  • I need a printer that can print, scan, and copy stuff. I'm on staples.com looking at printers so if you could look on there I would appreciate it. My budget is $150 and the printer would have everyday uses. I'm a sophomore in high school so i do a lot of work so what printer would be good for me? Thanks in advance!

    Epson wins for best price/feature comparison, best warranty and lowest cost of ink. You can't beat their warranty. If anything goes wrong, they will fedex a replacement and pick up the old one at their expense. You can get ink for under 50 cents a cartridge at www.ccs-digital.com. You pay under 2.50 for reusable cartridges and then get $2 back for the empties. Or you can buy refillables (which is what Im using now) and refill yourself for pennies. You could perhaps look at a HP Deskjet "All-in-one" type of printer. That's the only kind of printer that I can think of that covers your budget. I personally use a Canon M4270 which uses a laser drum for my black & white printing along with a fax, scanner & photocopier built into it. Its almost 3 to 4 years old, but still working. The All in One printers especially the one that I've mentioned above, I use to have one of these; but decided to go laser; because the cost of the ink is just ridiculous if you buy an deskjet; as there will be various ink cartridges.
