Is the HP F4280 All-in-One printer a good one?

Why won't my Hp Deskjet F4280 all-in-one printer print?

  • I didn't use my printer for a few months and just plugged it back in. Now the light next to the resume button keeps blinking. I have tried clicking it, but it still won't work. How do I get my printer to print again?! Please help :[

  • Answer:

It depends on what the actual issue is. What are the symptoms, other than the light? Can you hear the gears and belts working? Are there any clicking or grinding noises? Is there paper stuck in it? I'm can almost guarantee that the ink is bad. First step is to replace the cartridges. You may want remanufactured or generic cartridges. HP cartridges are expensive, and they have licensing issues attached to them that voids warranties if they are refilled, also, refilling them is technically illegal.

Are you sure you plugged it into the computer too?. Make sure their is no paper stuck in the machine or it just started to load paper when you unplugged it. check to see if you still have a print job in the "que". The ink may have solidified on the print heads since you have not used it in a while...or the ink dried up, take out the cartridges and wipe off the heads, put them back..make sure they "click" into place. try it again..if it doesn't work come back to answers and tell us what you tried.

it's you're cartridges... get's bad if you don't use often... just go get a new on.. or try calling HP.. they can help you with printing problems, since the problem involves you're cartridges..
