How to connect a printer?

How do you connect an Dell V505w All -in-1 (Product) Red printer to an Dell Computer using a Magic-Jack phone?

I have recently purchased an All in one printer from Dell. I have DSL.My computer & printer are in one room while my home phone is in another.I am using an (2 wire) DSL filter to receive the Internet in the room which contains my computer. Everything with the computer/Internet is working fine until, I purchased the All in one printer and tried to connect it to my computer using a Magic -jack connected to the USB port of my computer. I am able to print and copy but not fax (I have not yet tried the scan feature ). The main purpose I purchased the printer is to fax; paying to have something faxed is becoming expensive for me, as I fax often. I know very little about a computer or a all in one printer: the instruction booklet which came with the printer is not much help when it comes to connecting the printer using an magic-jack. Can anyone please help me/ give me the proper instructions/ directions to connect the printer using the magic-jack. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Unless your printer has an actual phone line type connection on it, you will not be able to use it Fax with Magic Jack!
