How do i reset low ink level alert on dell 924 printer?

Do you HAVE to reset hp printer ink level indicator when cartridge refilled?

  • Please only answer if you have prior experiments with refill ink cart. I hate to spent 30-50 dollars money on just a cartridge, because i feel like I've scammed by those ink company on purpose, especially HP. that's why i refill my inkS. MY QUESTION IS, DO YOU HAVE TO RESET THE INK INDICATOR ON YOUR COMPUTER WHEN THE CARTS HAVE REFILLED, LIKE WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU DON''T, WILL IT STILL PRINT?

    no ,they will always read empty as there is a chip in the cartridge to reset which does not have to be done .keep printing .

Depends on the printer. Reset the ink indicator but bear in mind that this often does not work and your refilled cartridges will still display low ink/empty despite being full. If you don't/can't reset the ink indicator you should still be able to print as normal, only you will probably get false 'low ink' warnings and you won't be able to monitor ink levels.

Depends of your model of printer. Some you can use tricks to reset the ink levels other you can override the warning that the ink is low and it will print without any ink levels. HP are usually very easy to override and very accepting of refills.

It depends on the cartridge. You're referring to what happens when a printers ink level monitoring system goes to "empty". Some printer/cartridge combinations will allow you to continue printing, but some "lock out", and wont accept the cartridge even if its refilled.
