Epson Stylus CX4700 printer head not moving into replacement position?
-
Hi, I have an Epson Stylus CX7400 printer. I want to change one of the ink cartridges and followed the instructions in the manual, which says "press stop ... and the cartridge holder will move to the replacement position". It did this when I previously changed cartridges but now it suddenly won't move when I press the stop button. The button itself works however, I held it down for three seconds to give the print head a clean and that seemed to work fine. So I am guessing there must be something wrong with the printer's software. Do you know if there is a way to fix this problem myself?

Try powering it off and try again.
