What is wrong with my printer?

  • my printer is a hp psc 1300 series. i restarted the printer, restarted the computer, unplugged and plugged the printer back in still nothing. i have ink, paper is there but i can not seem to figure out what is the problem. so can you please tell me what's wrong or what should i do? please and thank you.

    Hard to say without being infront of it, but i would start by uninstalling the driver software from your computer via control panel add/remove programs. After you have uninstalled the software, unplug your printer, restart your computer, re-install the software from the disc provided with the printer, plug in your printer and re test.

At times HP you will get a glitch when using the printer software and you will need to uninstall and then reinstall I recommend this procedure for that problem. Just click the run tab Add/remove and remove all components for the printer Now do a complete clean up with the HP level 4 driver removal utility tool (Scrubber) Just click the run tab When done, reinstall the software
