How to print very large documents?

How do I get my HP 7410xi series all in one printer to print Microsoft Word 2007 documents correctly?

• Explanation: My parents purchased me a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7 and an HP 7410xi series "all in one" printer. I followed the instructions in the printer's network setup manual and connected it to my 2wire WI-FI modem. The discs that originally came with the printer were not compatible with my operating system. (Windows 7) I asked my Dad and he told me to find the driver software on the internet. I googled "how to download hp officejet 7410xi all in one for windows 7" and used this link, "http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/prod… on the HP website to download it. I clicked on drivers, and then Windows 7 (64-bit). Now, I can successfully scan pictures to my computer (wired and wireless), I can print pictures from my computer (wired and wireless), the printer is full of ink (colored and black), the printer can make copies (computer not required), but lastly, I cannot print any documents (Word 2007) correctly with the printer (wired and wireless). That is my problem. I don't want to disappoint my parents in having to return the printer, so all help is much appreciated.

  You don't say what the problem is printing Word documents. The machine itself appears to be working so you really have no reason to return it. I assume your laptop is actually loaded with 64-bit Windows 7 (you have 4GB RAM or more). Downloading 64-bit drivers onto a 32-bit laptop might cause problems. Sorry I can't be of more help, but I have no way of knowing exactly what happens when you attempt to print a Word document
