HP printer faulty when printing from Microsoft office?

Is the Hp Office Jet 8500A a good printer?

  • I have read a few mixed reviews about the hardware failing after awhile and ink not lasting as long as proposed. Some reviewers say they love it. Here's the deal I won't be dong heavy duty office printing. My dad needs a few flyers for his business periodically. maybe 20-50 every couple of months. Am I going to be unsatisfied with the printer? I wanted an office jet or laser printer to cut ink costs. Our traditional printer eats through ink in about 10 pages. Any suggestions if this printer is a lemon? Thanks!

  • Answer:

I'm going to go off topic on your original question to give you a suggestion, I too was tired of paying for ink because it was soooo costly. Also, most printers out there don't let you refill your own cartridges because it's all about the money. Look for refillable cartrages for your model or look for Continuous Ink System (CIS) for your printer or the printer your looking into getting. What this does is save you ALOT of cash from buying new cartridges. I myself have a Epson Workforce 300 and refillable cartridges to go with it; it save me so much money! Consider getting one too for yours!
