Why is my screen resolution so big and words so small?

Screen Resolution problem?

• I have a gateway computer windows 7. i'm not actually sure what kind of monitor but i can look at the box i have in the other room if i actually need to.. BUT, all of a sudden after my reboot this morning, the resolution of the screen got more expanded and the words and everything are blurry. when i make the screen resolution to it's highest (which used to be my default after it got shifted) the screen is off the monitor and i can't see anything. and if i make the resolution lower it's even worst and i can't see a thing. How do i fix this? i've updated every one of my drivers (graphics card and monitor) but it still looks the same. Need help, thanks

  Have you got the magnify-er tool on? R click on the desktop and choose screen resolution. The on screen that opens look for "make screen and text larger or smaller". Click that and on next screen you can change settings or see if magnify is on. Also on screen resolution you can get the monitor to detect and identify.
