Do all computer monitors have VGA input?

Can my laptop with one VGA Input Port, use a VGA Splitter in order to have three monitors; if so, how?

  • I have a laptop with one VGA input port (as I said earlier). And I would like to have triple screens, I have a VGA splitter and have been playing around with the Display Settings for awhile and none of my attempts have allowed me to have 3 SEPARATE monitors. I was wondering if it is at all possible to even have three monitors using a VGA splitter? And if it is possible, could someone give me a step by step guide on how, or even a link?

  • Answer:

Not possible. All a VGA splitter does is clone the screens so they all display the same thing. I don't know what magic you expected, but splitter with only split the signal into 2 (or more) of the same signal

First of all, if it's a VGA input, you are totally out of luck! I doubt your laptop has a good enough video card to support more than one monitor!
