Using my external monitor as my main display, and extending to my laptop screen.?
-
I have an external monitor for my laptop and want to use it as my main monitor/display and extend my desktop onto my laptops screen. When going into my display settings I have the option to choose which my main monitor is, theoretically, however I can't un-check my laptop as my main monitor. Is it possible to use my external monitor as my main display and then extend back onto my laptops screen?

Answer:
Right Click in the background go to personalize go to display settings, you should see both screens if you have them hooked up via VGA or whatever your using for the 2nd video display. Now make the Monitor the primary and hit apply. Now you should be able to unchecked your laptop screen if you want.
