My crt monitor read it carefully?

I have a laptop presario. I want to connect the crt monitor. but when i connect it the display of the crt goes pink.. I CHECKED THE CABLES, REINSERT IT MANY TIMES. nothing happened. I used the s-video out on a projector and its pink too. so on that test i used the s-video cable and the crt cable. so cables are not the one who makes pink pictures. is it the video card? I tell you once more, definitely not the cables. then what is it? and oh.. the cables are new. i used also the 2 video outs of my laptop the s-video and for the crt's

did you checked the graphics driver's software/utility on your operating system? it might happen if you didn't enable the second monitor. if that's not helpful, you might need to update your graphics card's driver.
