What cables to use to connect my studio monitors?

Radeon HD 3450 Not Displaying 2 Monitors?

• Oooookay... Operating System: Windows Vista Premium Dell Studio Slim 530s(?) Monitors: Primary - 24" Flat Panel Widescreen Dell Monitor Secondary - 42" Panasonic Plasma Well I have a DVI, VGA and HDMI port for my Dell Studio Slim 530 or something. As windows likes to do, it crashed on me (BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!). Ive never tried to use two monitors at once before it crashed, but at the moment I'm unable to. I have tried updating the driver, using various ports from my computer to the TV (HDMI and VGA) but the TV doesn't pick it up. When I try to use VGA ports on my monitor, it won't work. I have tried rebooting with either one, and bother cables plugged into the monitor, and only the DVI works. The HDMI isn't picked up by my TV, as is the VGA, and my computer monitor doesn't pick up the VGA cable either. I have tried extending my desktop without success, and after this, I'm about to redownload my missing ATI Catalyst Control Centre, which for some reason is missing... So, does anyone actually know the reason for this malfunction other than when windows crashes it makes a dirty mess of things? Thanks for your time ~Dahnza~

  Try putting the cable that does work on the monitor that does not come up and see if the monitor is still working. Downloading the Control Suite may help too. It is also possible that the video card is bad, or that one side of it has gone out. Does the other monitor come up when you plug it into the port that is working? That would tell you if it may be the video card.
