Can you plug in your wii into an HP computer?

How can I plug a Nintendo Wii into a wide screen HP computer monitor?

• I bought a Nintendo Wii and I would like to use it in my room with my wide screen HP computer monitor. I do not want to use it with our family TV witch is in our family room. I also do not want to use it in our basement because I can not always use that tv because it is our 2nd family tv and I am not the only one using that tv. I looked online and found this but I don't like the price.
