My computer won't turn on?

Computer monitor wont turn on. Help!?

  • Ok. Basically, my computer monitor wont turn on. I usually turn my hardrive on or whatever its called, sit on ny chair, and wait for my login screen to type my password in... But for some reason, when i turn on my computer now, my monitor doesnt show anything. It just says Analog power saving mode and basically turns off or goes to a dead black screen. Ive tried turning my computer on and off a million times. Took out the power cord. Put it back in. Cleaned the inside of my computer. Rearranged my wires. And still... Nothing. I have no idea whats wrong :/ If anybody can help me please post a responce. This is seriously pissing me off. And im about ready to throw this out the window and watch it fall 3 stories and explode on impact. Help :(

It sounds like it is the result of the settings on your monitor. If you look on the sides of your monitor or at the bottom, there should be a series of small buttons. These buttons manage things like screen brightness, color, centering, etc. If you press on the button to bring up the menu or info, there you can make sure the settings are properly set. Start by googling the brand and model number of your monitor in the event you don't have the instruction booklet that came with it. There, you should find a troubleshooting guide to further assist you. If that doesn't work, try going into your control panel settings and make sure those are all in order. Best of luck.

can i ask, how far does your computer load, until it shows the black screen Pleaes e-mail me with your answer [email protected]

Actually your monitor is turning on. You may need to know the type of cable connected from computer to monitor. If monitor says analog and then goes blank I think you have a monitor that has an analog and digital inputs and your computer is connected either to HDMI or DVI connectors which are digital Anyways push the button on the monitor and switch it to digital input and that should solve your problem. If not you can use a video card or use another computer to see it monitor is broken.
