What is Audio Resolution?

What is the difference of native resolution and game resolution?

  • And how will the monitor switch between the 2 native resolution built into it? When getting a monitor what should the resolution be?What resolutions should I look for? Why are small 20' bad for HD?

  • Answer:

Native is the maximum effective resolution that your monitor looks best at. Game resolution is what you set it to. Most games will load default settings so it loads properly. You can possibly run a game in a resolution that the monitor doesn't support, but when applied will crash. Even if you get this to work you should never exceed the maximum resolution of the monitor. Most games max resolution is 1680X1050. Most monitors have a set resolution, depends on what size you are going for. HD thrives in 22" or larger displays. This is what you are paying the money for so why not see it in all its glory.
