Why does my 'full screen' option not cover the entire screen when I connect my computer to my tv via HTMI?
-
I am trying to connect my computer to my television via HDMI cable. I have successfully attached the two, but I am having trouble playing videos on Netflix. When I try to go to full screen mode, the video only covers the bottom portion of the screen. There is a two inch section at the top that is just my background. The window playing the video cannot be moved. How can I make the Netflix widescreen option cover my entire screen?

Answer:
Mine does the same thing. The computer isn't designed to fill a whole TV screen. It just fills the majority. This is because if it got to big the quality would be really bad. When you plug in your Computer to the HD-MI plug, it just magnifies it on the TV screen. So, it doesn't magnify it to fit the whole screen but half. If that makes sense. :D
