What cables to use to connect my studio monitors?

Connecting PC speakers to two monitors?

• I have two monitors. They are both samsung synmaster T220HD's, and are TV/monitors. They pretty much have all the right connections I need. I use one for my xbox 360 and TV usage, and I use the other for my desktop. The internal speakers for the monitor are not good at all for desktop use, so that's why I'm looking into getting Logitech S220 pc speakers. How would I go into connecting 1 pair of speakers to both monitors, so I won't be replugging cables? I've figured that I need female to male cables such as these: http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat_id=2009&sku=40424&relatedItem=true And i have also figured that I might need a vga switchbox to switch audio. But using a vga cable would eliminate the use for hdmi on my xbox, so then I would have to switch to xbox vga cables. I prefer to use hdmi and connect to pc speakers at the same time, if that's possible, Can anyone help me out?

  You can just use one to swap audio instead. You don't need to hook up VGAs. Head to Radioshack or someone similar and ask for help finding an audio switcher and they have some that are five line swappers. Though not sure if it has the 3.5mm jacks or the red/black wiring bit.
