How should i connect two monitors one pc?

  • i have an HP pavilion slimline s3700y pc and i want to hook up two monitors to it could i use an vga spliter or do i need another grafics card and if so what would be an decent one to get

depends on what your objective is. if you just want to have multi-monitors with the same visuals shown for each of the monitors, then definitely go for a splitter, it would be cheaper. find a high quality one. If you want to have multi desktop, where one monitor shows a different video signal, then add a graphics card. the advantage of the graphics card is that it can also show simultaneous signals for the additional monitors like a splitter. If you go for the grahics card, check your monitors of what interface they are using. Some GPUs have 1 D-sub and 1 DVI. If both of them are DVIs, then go for dual DVI GPUs. That should be very easy to setup.
